Happy Valentine's Day

So I took Jackson in for his first professional photo shoot this week. I was so excited, we were going to see Amy Vining, the woman who took our wedding photos that we LOVE!! And, Jackson was in such a good mood that day, smiling all day long. Well, as you'll see the photos did turn out great (I mean, it's hard to imagine Jackson NOT looking adorable :p) but this little turkey did not want to smile for the camera! He gave us TONS of smiles and cooed and talked, just not when Amy had the camera in front of his face. We did finally get some big smiles at the end when Mom was holding him. It was a great afternoon!

We are down visiting with Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie Alex for a whole 10 days!!! Daddy is taking a trip with the guys to Lake Tahoe next weekend and Mommy and Jackson thought that was the perfect opportunity to come spend some quality time at G&G's house. We came down in two cars and Daddy will head home on Monday. We'll miss him lots! This will be the first time Matt has spent the night away from Jackson.
