Where's Jackson??

Although this photo shoot didn't start out on a great note.....

Once we got a hand out, it wasn't so bad:)

I thought I would give everyone a little update since I've only been posting pictures lately. We are really enjoying the holiday season with Jackson and looking forward to his first Christmas! We got together with friends last weekend and today with Matt's grandfather, John and his wife, Becky and we're looking forward to many more get-togethers in the next week!

Jackson seems to change from minute to minute these days! He's started laughing, which is just about the sweetest sound you'll ever hear:) That, and when he "talks" to you in the softest, sweetest little voice! Yesterday I had him laughing out loud for about 5 minutes! I guess Mom's funnier than she thought.

He started using his exersaucer (the toy that he sits in and can rotate 360 degrees) last week and he's loving it more and more every day! He can really grab onto toys now and he likes to taste them all. Bring out the sanitizer, MOM!!

He also made a BIG transition this week, to the crib in his bedroom. He's slept in there for the WHOLE night the last two nights. We are thankful the transition has gone so smoothly! We were both a little anxious not having him right next to us where we could check on him whenever we wanted. But he's done great, and I think he's probably sleeping better in there than he was in our room.

He's steadily growing into a strong little boy! He's such a happy little boy:) He's such a joy and we are both so thankful we've been blessed with such a sweet little boy!

We wish everyone a happy, healthy, and safe holiday season!!!
xoxo

One cozy, snuggly polar bear

We had a pretty difficult time tonight, so I'm happy we got the pictures we did! I think he's over having his picture taken and I can't imagine why? He's only had about a zillion taken in the last two weeks. He's a pretty good sport but by the end, we had to have the binky:)

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!

One TIRED reindeer!

This little reindeer was busy today! It's Daddy's birthday and he was Mommy's helper. We had to wrap gifts and bake the cake and Jackson sprinkled his sweetness into the whole thing:) This little reindeer was just too tired to have his picture taken.

But I guess even Jackson can't sleep when the Paparazzi's shooting....

Happy Birthday Daddy, we love you!

The Crose Christmas Tree Hunt 2010

This one isn't necessarily a Christmas outfit, but in the spirit of the season, this is his outfit for Christmas tree hunting. Brrrrr! It was cold out there, good thing he picked a great one so quickly:)

Glad to be back in the car!

25 days of Jackson....in Christmas outfits

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love Christmas time!! In the spirit of the season (and because Jackson has so many cute Christmas outfits) I've decided to do the 25 days of Christmas--Jackson style. Now, the idea would be that I would put up a new Christmas picture each day, but I'm not making any promises here. I'll try my best, but you know how things go.....;)

But, first things first, let's not skip over Thanksgiving. We had a few Thanksgivings, I guess that's appropriate since we have so much to be thankful for! We began our holiday at the Bush's and then headed over to Uncle Tom and Aunt Jennifer's for round two. Needless to say, by the end of the day we were full of wonderful food! Round number three didn't come until Saturday. My brother, Chris and his wife Melody weren't able to make it for actual turkey day so we had one with them on Saturday. A very nice end to a wonderful weekend!

Now onto the 25 days of Jackson!!

WHAT?!...No Way!...3 Months!!

That's right Jackson is three months old today! He's growing so BIG and so strong! I weighed him the other day and he's tipping the scales at almost 15 pounds!! Not only is he growing, but he's become so much more aware of his surroundings and is much more interactive. He spends his days.....

blowing spit bubbles * drooling * squealing and cooing * pushing off of anything I can reach to move backward * sucking on my hands * swinging my hands at toys * SMILING (this isn't so new, I just love it so much and they come all the time now!) * siting up in my bumbo seat *

We've had a busy month! We were involved in some monkey business as Jackson's friend, Jack Weeks' (my friend, Brooke's son) had his 3rd birthday. It was a great time, with cupcakes and ice cream and all the usual festivities. Brooke does such a great job with the kids' birthday parties! The first birthday party, of many I'm sure, Jackson will attend.

We also made a trip to Redmond to visit Grandpa Mark and Grandma Mary. We had a great visit, but boy was it cold!! brrrr! Jackson had the opportunity to meet Miss Teagan. She is six weeks older than him, so it was fun to see what we can look forward to in just a few short weeks! They had a blast together.

We've also started taking Griffin again on Mondays. We are thrilled to be seeing him on a regular basis again and look forward to watching him and Jackson grow and interact. He's such a sweetie, we've really missed him these last few months!

Unfortunately, Jackson had his first cold last week. He was such a trooper though, hardly complained. Mommy spent the week at home with him cuddling him! He's feeling much better now. It's so hard to see him sick when he's so little and can't do anything about it. Thank goodness Daddy ordered our humidifier the week before, that definitely came in handy!

We are all looking forward to the holiday season. We're spending Thanksgiving in Portland this year, it'll be nice to stick close to home! We got our first dusting of snow last night and it's COLD here! We're wishing safe travels for all of you who aren't sticking close to home and looking forward to seeing many of you this weekend!

gobble, gobble!!

Halloween

As promised, I got some pictures of Jackson in his many Halloween outfits. Unfortunately, he wasn't happy about it, any of the times I tried. He did enjoy the pumpkin patch. Here we go!

It took him a little while to get going....

....but once he did.....

He loved it!

Happy with his daddy!

Now for the costumes!
